Northwestern Regional to Host Community Conversation

In the interest of opening a discussion about priorities for their school district, the Board of Education of Northwestern Regional School No. 7 and the school’s administrators will host a community conversation on Wednesday, November 2, at 7 p.m. The evening will include brief presentations from several student groups including the NWR7 Alcoa Scholars, our FIRST Robotics Team #4055, the NRG Gearheads, and students who attended the InspirED Social and Emotional Learning Summit.

The administration will update the community on the district’s Five Year plan, including goals accomplished and adjustments made to the plan. This is an opportunity for all community members to share their perspective with the board, and this information will assist the board in ensuring that our school reflects the interests, concerns and values of the broader community.

The discussion will be held in the Roberta Ohotnicky Little Theater at Northwestern Regional School, 100 Battistoni Drive in Winsted. All community members are invited to attend.
