HBH Band with Wanda Houston to Perform at Battell Chapel

Benefit Concert for Stained Glass Restoration

By Nels White

The HBH Band with Wanda Houston will appear in concert on Sunday, September 17 at 3 p.m. in Norfolk’s Battell Chapel. Scott Heth (piano), Jay Bradley (drums), & Wanda Houston (vocals) bring a musical legacy that spans the past 80 years, from 30s jazz and musical theatre through country, gospel, rock and hip-hop. Their music is jazz, influenced by the styles of their bountiful experience.

The group is performing to celebrate the continuing restoration of the historic stained glass in Battell Chapel. More work has been completed recently and the newly-restored windows provide a glorious backdrop for this great music. All proceeds will benefit the Battell Chapel windows project.

Call 860-542-5721 for reservations or visit http://norfolkctucc.org/ucc/event/HBH-in-concert/ to purchase tickets at $50 reserved or $35 general admission.
