A special town meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Hall of Flags in Botelle School to vote on a proposed zoning enforcement ordinance. Copies will be available in the town clerk’s office by Oct. 11.

Household Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Torrington Water Treatment Plant at 252 Lower Bogue Road, Torrington from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Participants need to register, which can be done by stopping in at the selectmen’s office, 19 Maple Avenue, or by calling 860-542-5829.

The selectmen’s office is accepting applications for heating assistance.  Please contact 860-542-5829 for further information.
