Jake Green (son of Deb and Dan Green of Norfolk) was one of two eighth grade students at Northwestern Regional 7 Middle School to receive the Connecticut Association of Schools Scholar-Leader Award this year. One boy and one girl who have “distinguished themselves in scholarship and leadership in school and the community through positive influence on school climate, dependability, responsibility, character and integrity” are chosen annually from each middle school in the state. Green will represent NWR7 at a banquet at Aqua Turf in Plantsville, Conn. on June 3.
