Selectman’s Corner
New Road Supervisor Hired
By Sue Dyer
The Board of Selectmen has hired a new road supervisor, John Allyn. He was previously employed by the town of Morris and brings over 20 years of experience in public works to the town. He has certainly been indoctrinated, with our roller coaster of winter events that occurred this December. We will get to the debris removal from the ice storm, but please be patient. It will take time. The town has received two grants. The first is for the Planning and Zoning Commission, to aid them in writing regulations for incentive housing zones. The other is for the Norfolk Senior Housing to aid them in renovations to their community room, to update the bathrooms and entrance and to install outside lighting.
