At the Funkware Pottery booth June 6 a customer uncovered a treasure as the Norfolk
Farmers Market kicked off its 2009 season of 22 consecutive Saturdays, stretching
through October 31. Fourteen different vendors showed their produce and wares. In the
background, Coyote Doty and his band maintained the country air. Every week a new
band will perform live through the market hours of 10-1 rain or shine.
