Sewer Dumpings

We feel the article “Sewage Dumping in Local Woods”, published in the November “Norfolk Now” and the Waterbury Republican, has had a negative impact on the W. F. Torrant Co., Inc. and has embarassed the Torrant family members residing in Norfolk. We are asking that your newspaper issue a clarification, and that you  use these clarified facts if any future articles are written.
The actual company name involved, Certified Sewer Service, acting under the corporate name of James F. Torrant, Inc. is located in Colebrook, CT, not Norfolk. The owner/president of Certified Sewer is David Gasperini. We want to emphasize that NO member of the Torrant family has been associated with Certified Sewer Service in the last 30 years.
Most importantly, Certified Sewer Service should not be confused with or associated with W. F. Torrant, Inc., which is located in Norfolk.  W. F. Torrant, Inc. does not own or operate septic tank cleaning trucks, but is in the business of installation of septic systems, drainage and other excavation-related work.
We hope this will set the record straight. The description of Torrant Certified Sewer Service in Norfolk, is inaccurate and misleading to your readers.
