Norfolk Land Trust Annual Meeting: Snakes on the Green
On February 20 at 3 p.m. the Norfolk Land Trust will hold its annual meeting in the Norfolk Library. After a very short member meeting, Brian Kleinman of Riverside Reptiles will present a family-friendly program on reptiles and amphibians of northwestern Connecticut including a number of live creatures for “hands-on” encounters. He will also bring a few that definitely can’t be found in our woods.
Kleinman has had many years of experience teaching natural history, having worked at the Roaring Brook Nature Center and at the Science Center of Connecticut, where he was Animal Curator. His passion has lead him to study reptiles and amphibians in many exotic habitats. He founded Riverside Reptiles in 2003 and travels to schools, camps and libraries all over the state.
