Norfolk Lost & Found

Pictured above is Farmer Smith’s house at the corner of Smith Rd. and Old Goshen Rd. His cows kept the corner marsh free of brush and full of iris. After his death, the cows departed, and brush grew up in place of iris, obscuring the view of the house, which has changed shape after several waves of fixer-uppers. This picture was taken in 1988.
