The Sky’s the Limit on WIN Weekend
Astronomer Matthew Johnson brought his solar telescope to let WIN visitors observe sunspots and other phenomena. He also showed how he uses a portable photon meter to measure how dark the sky is in Norfolk and Colebrook.
Summer Favorites Return for Winter WIN Weekend
Last summer’s Norfolk Chamber Music Festival Wind Quintet was warmly welcomed back to town by a full house at the Norfolk Library for WIN weekend. The players—Michael Huerta, flute; Annie Winkelman, oboe; Nicole Martin, clarinet; Darius Farhoumand, bassoon; and Gretchen Berendt, horn—presented a lively program enjoyed by all ages.
