Retirement Party for Anne Moses

On November 29, Ann Moses, soon to retire after forty-two years as Norfolk’s Town Clerk, was honored by her colleagues and friends with a gala celebration at Ye Olde Newgate Coon Club. First Selectman Sue Dyer presented official commendations from the Board of Selectmen, Congressman Chris Murphy and Governor M. Jodi Rell. Further recognition, from the Democratic Town Committee, was presented by Frank Dooley. In her response Moses thanked her long-time assistant Peggy Cusick, whose husband, Town Attorney Dave Cusick, also spoke.
In addition to numerous friends and officials from Norfolk and Colebrook, members of four generations of Moses’ family were in attendance. Pictured here are (left to right) daughter-in-law Suzanne Luke, granddaughter Jessica Luke, Moses, great-granddaughter Lotus Luke, son Charlie Luke and granddaughter Caroline Luke. Jessica and Lotus live in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, the others in Harwinton.
