Stocking Up on Treats for the Halloween Hordes

The Norfolk community invites its trick-or-treaters to Maple Avenue on the afternoon and evening of Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31. The Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department will shut the street to through-traffic from 5 p.m. to 7 or 8 p.m., depending on the weather.

Donations of candy for the households along Maple Avenue and the adjoining streets are welcomed. Candy in unopened bags may be dropped off at the following collection points: Berkshire Country Store, National Iron Bank, Norfolk Library and Botelle School.

Residents of Maple Avenue, Terrace View and Emerson Street can sign up at the library for a share of the donated candy.
