A little over a year ago, the office at Lone Oaks Campsites in East Canaan was destroyed by fire. The campground operated as usual last summer despite the lack of this important building. The rebuild began in October and the new, two-story building is now almost complete, just in time to welcome guests for a new camping season starting April 13.
