Ribbon Cutting for Roberston Plaza

After years of consultations and planning, the redesigned Robertson Plaza is officially open for all to enjoy, with new benches, freshly planted trees, and a now working fountain. As part of the Weekend in Norfolk festivities, there was an official ribbon cutting on Sunday, Aug. 7. Following an concert by the Amo brass quintet, courtesy of the Yale Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, State Representative Maria Horn, City Meadow Committee member John Anderson, landscape architect Bob Gilchrest, City Meadow Committee member Molly Ackerly and First Selectman Matt Riiska gathered under a hot afternoon sun to do the honors.
