Under a clear sky and crisp, fall-like temperatures, Norfolk residents and visitors alike lined up on Saturday, Aug. 29 in search of hidden treasures and diamonds in the rough. First up was the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance tag sale where bikes, lamps, tables and tchotchkes were on offer. With book dealers and collectors queued up outside the book tent, bags and volunteers readied themselves for the onslaught at the Norfolk Library book sale. Preparing the check-out station for “books of better value” were, from left, Paul Madore, Elizabeth Bartle, Valerie Nelson and Library Director Ann Havemeyer.
