Red-hot Start to the School Year

Three lucky students arrived for the first day of school at Botelle Elementary aboard Engine No. 3 driven by Mike Listorti of the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department. Listorti, who is running for a seat on the Board of Education, helped his daughter Angie down from her front-seat perch.

Ahoy! Another Big-Time Beach Bash

Families and friends enjoyed a pirate-themed party as they celebrated Tobey Pond Day on Aug. 17 with games, a sandcastle contest, cookout and even a good old-fashioned tug-of-war between the lifeguards and the dads (no word on which side had to walk the plank). The town has hosted this annual event for over 30 years.
