During the first week of October, crews at the Route 44 retaining wall will be working from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with flaggers managing traffic flow 24 hours per day. With much of the concrete wall facing completed, DOT plans to rebuild the roadbed and open both lanes of traffic for the winter. Work will resume in the spring.
